I played CCA at first but never really got "into" the game. I raced, draged built all kinds of cars and made it to level 30 but didn't know anybody.
I met the "Hot Dog" crew on the message board and one thing led to another and I ended up living out the rest of my MCO life on Midtown.
It was great being a "Hot Dog" we had such a rep... Not the best group of drivers but certainly the most vocal and IMHO the most fun to hang with and race with. It was an honor to get voted in President of the club though I will admit we never really got involved in much by then and I felt more like it was a honorary title than anything, but still an honor.

Midtown, from day 1. Seems the first week I got into a club trying to get 100 members. A week after that, the club "owner" Titus had to leave the game for family reasons, and he left it to me.
I think I was the only one of all 100 members that actually did anything
Then I met Starsky (who I still can't track down ), then Oscii and Rodder, and everyone else that I lost against Ended out the trip in the 404 club. What a fun ride it was.
Oh yea, wtf happened to Bigsuit?

Basically the same reason I started there. First time I logged on there were like 6 people online on all the severs combined and 3-4 of them were on CCA.BigBen wrote:I started on CCA, as it was the only server with a population when I got my copy of MCO.
I had the misfortune to run with TeamGod for the first few weeks before realizing what a sleaze GodJoey was. I hear folks gripe about him in the BF2 forums from time to time...

Still amazes me that I started that club(HoT) for just my wife and I to have a "Quiet channel". And I used the hotdog graphic as a joke for the Devs and folks on the boards! Never dreamed it'd turn into some franchised fraternity type thing.
Man those were some good times back on the boards...
God I miss MCO...

I am a proud citizen of Midtown...raced every spare moment I had when not helping others or watching my auctions finish. (Damn General Chat Auction Snipers!)
The ENTIRE MCO experience was great, with a few exceptions. I really hated seeing a player leave the game after the dreaded announcement.
LT, If memory serves me right, Starsky left the game due to real life issues. He spent ALOT of time playing in the early days of MCO. It was taking a toll on his family life. It was sad to see him leave, (Never knew cops were so cool..hehe), but family is more important than a game.

I was on CCA at the begining, then headed off to Crossroads about 4 months later. I had 2 accounts, 1 for my kid and 1 for myself. So I had toons on all the servers. I was even a Hotdog on Midtown and in Rippers club on Uptown. I foundly remeber those Hazard Hollow Demolition derbys of death with Ripper. We had some good times on Crossroads with the 32 flathead series and the merc races. The Monday night starters was a blast as were beating the Devs on Dev night.

ROD! How've you been?!
I spent the majority of my time on CCA, then ended up joining a club on Crosstown as well to help with turf battles. Then I joined ANOTHER club on Uptown for a little while to run turfs there. Then I bought a second account and created an anonymous persona on Midtown so I could drive in peace once in a while and try stuff. hehehe
So, I've been on all of them. CCA was what I considered "home" though since I'd started there.
Midtown was a frickin DIVE, by the way.
