So yeterday I was leaving work and went to open the third door on my truck so I could slide my boots etc in. The handle broke *@#$%^&**&^*%&$*^&$%*^&, was about what I said. So I get home and get online to find out some prices Dealership $137 (complete plastic assembly only) Recyclers $60 (complete plastic assembly only) Ebay $12 shipped handle only in aluminum never to break again. Made me a happy camper. The snaptogether technology of today cars really irritates me. Sure its lighter etc etc but for longevity it sucks. |

http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f200/make-your-own-replacement-3rd-door-handle-105297/ I agree on the plastic crap, when I got my pickup dad said the rear sliding window latch would break for sure, even if I was careful with it. sure enough he was right, I went to close it today and the latch part fell off.
